A huge amount of work goes into making a documentary about an expedition, behind and in front of the camera. And then, of course, you mustn't forget that the expedition needs to be planned before it can be filmed. The whole project took 22 months to plan and execute, and then the film took more than a year to produce and edit, so here's to moving forward in the future and giving the documentary the exposure it warrants, it's the least everyone deserves. Thanks to Badgerboy Productions for their work so far.
Updates:
In late Summer/ early Autumn 2009 the BoardFree Australia documentary will air on television for the first time, on the Extreme Sports network, we don't know when yet. The Oz docu has been shown at a couple of festivals in the US in 2009, doing well at the Accolade Film Awards where it won an Award of Merit, and also receiving warm reviews at the Delray Beach Film Festival. In time we hope a DVD of the BoardFree Oz documentary will be released.
