On 19th December 2009 Dave reached the end of a 2476km expedition along the length of Australia's greatest river, the Murray.

The Murray Expedition was the first of a series of endurance journeys on water known as The Great Big Paddle, Dave's latest adventure project, which aims to use 9000 miles of paddling to encourage thousands of people onto the water and develop a culture of appreciation for the environments in which we play, train and travel.

In the pipeline is a World Record-breaking distance journey on a Stand Up Paddle board, as well as an expediton along the Amazon and another across a large stretch of open water.
