You’d have to be game to ride a skateboard all the way from Perth to Brisbane.
But that’s what British adventurer Dave Cornthwaite did a couple of years ago. And lived to tell the tale.
Now he has his sights set on another Aussie adventure. This time to kayak the River Murray from source to sea.
Along the way he’ll make a documentary to try and do his bit to combat the negative press about the river and get some positive global coverage.
But what on earth would make a guy from Britain travel to the other side of the world just to paddle our river? I gave him a call in the UK to find out.
